Favorite Cafes in Dehradun

With the ever spreading wings of the vale of Doon there has also been an immense increase in the number of cafes here in the city, cafes offering different variety of foods along with the prettiest themes to allure food enthusiasts and insta creators alike.

As they say never judge a book by its cover similarly DO NOT judge the cafe's food merely by the aesthetic photos one would see on the internet. Among the many insta-worthy ( or not-so-much) cafes, the food enthusiast in me has filtered a list of great cafes in the city whose taste and quality I can always vouch for.

Here is my list of best cafes in Dehradun, with food so amazing that I usually forget to take aesthetic photos of the cafe, I hope the excuse is enough to make up for thelack of good pictures :)

Ama Cafe

Whenever I feel like having breakfast food, Ama cafe is my go-to, the beautiful views from the cafe offer a glimpse of the quaint old town that Dehradun once was. Along with the great food and beverages and. yellow lighting adding to the rustic charm pretty cafe in Rajpur, another thing which I really love about the place is the co-working seating it offers so that you can sip on your coffee and have a productive work-day with people working around :)

Kylin Experience

This restaurant serves great Pan-Asian food and it has brough out the Ramen enthusiast in me. Along with great food they also have a great collection of mocktails, which should definitely be explored. Even if you dont ask, I would say everything on their menu is recommended !

TBistro

With a summery vibe, movie posters all around and good music, this cafe will bring out the the movie enthusiast in you. The cafe offers a great variety of tea for you explore along with good food and milk beverages too!

Nany's Bakery

Now if this one on the list comes as a surprise to you, then I would definitely suggest you to visit this place and give its a food a try. Once you do I am sure with the great taste and lower price range, you will end up having most of your meals here as and when you pass the center of the city.

Also Brownie points to Its Cold Coffee with ice-cream, I find it just perfect!

Eddies Pattieserie

Honestly before having desserts from Eddies I used to think nothing, just nothing can even come at par with Doon's very own Ellora's Bakery, but oh was I proved wrong. Ellora's is always going to be the charm of Dehradun when it comes to baked goodies, but Eddies definitely does a superb job as well, and the good part it offers good amount of seasting too for you to enjoy their pastries along with beverage of your choice and lots of savoury options on the list.

Everything they offer is just yum, but definitely try their Hazelnut cheesecake!
